Wildfire is Downtown Altoona’s eco-friendly boutique, gift shop, and refill shop offering sustainable clothing, jewelry, home goods, and thoughtfully curated gifts. As Altoona’s first eco-friendly boutique and Blair County’s first refillery, we help our community shop more intentionally with ethically made products, plastic-free packaging, and American-made goods. Bring your own containers to refill household essentials like dish soap, hand soap, laundry products, and more while reducing everyday waste. Founded by Emily McCarty in 2019, Wildfire was built on the belief that small choices can create a big impact. This little boutique is such a gem! It's one of my favorite places to shop in Altoona. The store has such a beautiful vibe and everything is thoughtfully curated. I love that they carry eco-friendly, sustainable products and so many high-quality items made in the USA. The clothing, candles (I'm obsessed with them), jewelry, and home goods are all so cute and unique. Definitely worth stopping in!

The items i got were so cute!!!! And the online shop was super easy to use, i live just a little to far away to shop in person but i can't wait to see this place in person!!!!!

I wanted to delve into the hobby of sourdough baking but had no such luck of finding places near me that carried starters! Until I found this beautiful shop. Not only does it provide for little fun hobbies, clothing, cleaning products, but at reasonable prices too! So many places online wanted double the price of what I paid. I also ran into a little issue with my bank and the pick-up order (which they had ready in literally ten minutes for me!). The problem was completely my bank’s fault but Emily took the time out of her weekend to investigate it for me and report back to me once she heard something. Anyone that has ever dealt with customer service knows that service like that is so, so rare! This shop is one of kind of not only its products but the lovely people who run it as well.

I absolutely love this shop! The owner, Emily, is so passionate about low waste living. The shop is always so clean and cozy, with the cutest plants and decor! It’s also right next to a coffee shop. My husband and I love grabbing Clay Cup and then browsing here. I can always find clean products here, which I love. Definitely recommend!!
